Theravada monk blogs about Buddhist philosophy and other random things.
Dear Punnadhammo,I read this post only today. I guess you are glad for having all these firewoods. Have a lot of metta for the comming winter. However, I feel that the attitude in the sentence "Let it snow- ha ha ha" is not religious according to the monotheism. It shows pride against God. Could you please explain in details the Buddhist opinion about such sentence? On one hand, Buddhism does not need God to explain the world, but from the other hand the Silla of all religions is quite similar.Thanks.
Don't you think God would have a sense of humour?
Dear Punnadhammo,I'm not sure about God's sense of humour, but one thing is for sure- problems happen because of people without a sense of humour. I read this post when I was tired, and the result was my stupid comment. (I deleted it many times due to so many mistakes). Please accept my apology.EBE
Looks like your ready to settle into a cozy winter. :)
